it was merry-making !!

i went with my family of course.

it's obvious cuz i've mentioned it.

we went india and nepal for a buddhist

pilgrimage.and holidays at sri lanka.

started on

23rdNov (:

we took srilankan airlines - BUSINESS class weyh !

felt like a princess xP thanks to a friend of my dad's.

We headed to sri lanka

first. Then we took a transit to INDIA. Namaste india (:

we arrived at the hotel(1) in New Delhi at 12.00 a.m. gilerrr !

and guess what time we had to wake up the next day?

guess guess ! ^^

4.30 a.m. oh well.. guess travelling means tiring too..

24Nov \:

got up early as you know.

Transferred to railway station for train to Lucknow.

Then we had a rough drive to Sravasti. The road was

the opposite of SMOOTH. bump bump` gosh ` we were shaking giler.

It was already SUPER dark at 5.00p.m. !!

n0 street lights. only DARKNESS. imagine that.

of course had car lights (; but DARK =\

but i did realise some unique things there.

on every trucks, there were signs like

'use dipper at night' and 'please horn'. weird but unique.

Arrived at the hotel (2) at 8.00p.m. phewwww` another tiring day.

the hotel staffs invited us into their hotel like as if we were

kings and queens xP they gave us a bouquet of flower EACH

and a glass of cold drink. AAAHH ` they knew we were tired. THANKS !

25Nov (:

i thought i could have a good sleep but unfortunately

i was wrong! pooooor me xP we got up at 7.00a.m. and

had breakfast. indian food - YUUUMMMY ! ^^ Then, we went to

Lumbini, NEPAL ;P *cheeeers* i had the chance to be in

two countries at once (= hahaha. it was like,

india, nepal, india, nepal (how childish of me)

so byebye india hello nepal ! we'll be back india !

i have to tell you, the people in nepal LENG ZAI + LENG LUI weyh !

not kidding. It was like a country of NICE people. haaa !

we arrived at our hotel (3) quite late again. The hotel was nice.

ENORMOUS too ! then we had dinner - BUFFET. More to western

food. I still can taste the delicious spaghetti (: hahaha.

After dinner, we went touring in the hotel xP

There was an accessories shop and some cabinets

filled with statues which were pleasurable.

My mom, eyed a pearl necklace at the accessories shop.

Trying to bargain as much as she could.. until the sales guy

also like very 'sui bian'(watever la like that) dy. FUNNY ! as for me,

i was EXHAUSTED of standing! so i reasted on the desk at the shop

in front of the sales guy. LOL` yaa i know i was humiliating myself

but when you gotta sleep, you gotta sleep (=

Sis was walking here and there, BORED too.. zZZ

AFTER ONE HOUR....

yes yes.. ONE HOUR! Mom was still admiring the

necklace. MOMMMYYY ARRR!! BUY THE NECKLACE AND LETS GO!!

who knew, my mom heard me although she was mesmerized by that biji biji thing. LOL

then we went away without buying it. the

manager of the hotel was talking to my dad

so my mom, sis and i joined them. [SOCIALIZING..]

Then who knew, the TEMPTING biji biji dragged my mom back to the shop xP

Even the sales guy laughed. Oh deaaaaar.. lalala `u might

have guessed it, WE DIN BUY IT in the end. LOL (=

26Nov (: and ):

lumbini garden.

LUMBINI GARDEN !!!!! It is the birth place of Buddha. The place

was nice. SPIRITUAL too. I liked it (= and i'm missing that place.

Just look at the Buddha eyes. Originated from Nepal. WOWs

Then we went to Kushinagar, LEAVING nepal. How sad i was. NEPAL! I MISS YOU!

The hotel (3) at Kushinagar wasn't that classy as I expected but

we had a place to stay. So it was okay.

27Nov (;

We visited a temple which had a beautiful statue of the reclining Buddha.

nice right?

My mom really liked it. She's still talking about now. ahah.

Then we went to Vaishali. We visited the Asoka

Pillar which was very nice in addition with the beautiful sun!

perfect picture. I like it a lot.

We continued our journey to Patna.. on the way, we

visited two temples. One Japanese temple. Simple yet Nice (=

Arrived at the hotel (4) around 7.00p.m. The hotel was located

in a CROWDED city. NOISE everywhere. haih.

BUT fortunately, i slept soundly ! yay me ^^

28Nov :

Had breakfast in the room (; Then went to a temple to

see where the Buddha used to bath. There was also

a mini deer park in the temple. Adorable giler xP there

was also guinea pigs [ u know in Kim Possible, that mole rat called Rufus ]

We then visited another Japanese temple. We also went to a

temple which was on the hill. Had to take cable car to reach there.

Sounds normal but what u din know is the cable car is SMALL !

i think its better called as cable SEAT xP Everyone had to go

one by one. NERVOUS GILER ! i felt butterflies in my stomach too.

But when reached the top, WOW ! the scenery was bizzare!

Then later, we went straight to Bodhgaya - spiritual home of Buddhists.

Overnight in Bodhgaya. Had dinner in hotel (5) of course. There was some

Thailand tourists staying there too. Unfortunately, they were stuck in India

due to flight cancellation and stuff. Poor thing `

29Nov (;

BODHGAYA !! a very spiritual place indeed. We walked around the

Bodhgaya park which was very peaceful.

My dad really liked it. ^^

There was also a HUGE bodhi tree. We let some birds

free from a cage as a symbol of freedom (=

On the way out from the park,

we met a Thailand monk, SUPER friendly i'd say.

He gave us a bracelet each which was very nice. THANKS !

[ actually i forgot to mention, in EVERY temple, there were beggers,

from babies to adults.. if u donate some money to one, FEW more

wil come following you until thay're satisfied. ]

seeing them suffer was quite a big task for me. VERY PITIFUL !

The same thing happened at Bodhgaya.

One by one.. begging for food, money, anything !

There was also many people selling souvenirs which

are not really souvenirs actually. They're basically free

things you get from the temple. Oh well, it's their way

of earning money. Mom bought a necklace which was nice

and a small Buddha statue. Then there was this young boy

i think at the age of eight or ten, who was doing the same,

he kept following us although we didn't want to buy anything.

He was really a sweet boy i can say. He started telling my dad and i

about how these children always beg and stuff while my mom and sis

was surrounded by begging kids. The boy still followed us until we

reached our car, the special thing in him was he did not ask for a single cent

from us. My mom then gave him 10rupees [ RM1 ] for being so nice to us

but he did not accept the money. I was truly SURPRISED. i miss you lil bro. (=

Transferred to Varanasi. Then we went the Genges River. Heard of it? Well, it's the

longest river in Asia. Most Hindus believe this to be a holy place for them.

We witnessed a prayer called Aarti. We went on a boat ride which was

breathtaking although it was dark. We also lighted some prayer lights to be

placed on the river. My first attempt failed which was quite disappointing.

But my second attempt went well. THANK YOU LORD BUDDHA !

We then headed back to our hotel (6).

30Nov (;

We went to Sarnath - where the Buddha preached his first sermon in

the Deer Park. It was also the place where Buddha had his first five

disciples. There was also a mini zoo there. [ actually its a park ]

manyak deer weyh ! cute too (= There was also an antelope. SO yeng xP haha.

like i said, cute deer (: can pose leh.

Then, at night, we took a train to New Delhi. Overnight in the TRAIN =\

scary but luckily nothing happened.

Stayed in the hotel (1) we stayed on the first day.

We went shopping later. FINALLY ` hahaha.

Then an old friend of my dad's came to

our hotel to pay some visit.

2ndDec :\

We then went to Agra - Taj Mahal. It was really nice
to witness one of the seven wonders of the world

Reached at the hotel quite late because of

the HEAVY jam =\ ish.

3rdDec (;

We went to the India Gate which is equialent to Tugu Negara.

It was nice. Really tall =X We also went to the Parliament and the

President's House. Didn't go in la, just see from outside xP

LAST DAY IN INDIA.

Afternoon flight to Sri Lanka (= YAYs

Arrived at the hotel (7) around midnight.

5thDec ):

Parent's 21st Anniversary ! yAyy !

had free breakfast (for 3) in the hotel. It was a buffet breakfast.

The food were more like FOOD FOR LUNCH! manyakk giler weyh.

We were suppose to pay for one person though. But the manager there

was too SWEET, he said we don't have to pay and he also gave

a box of homemade chocolate to my parents as a gift of

their anniversary ! THANK YOU UNCLE ^^

Then, Sis had a severe stomach ache due to eating disorder.

She could barely move because of the pain. As for crazy me,

I suddenly started coughing non-stop -.- so mom n dad took us

to a nearby hospital because there was NO clinics! weirddd.

Bought some medicine and went to a Gem Shop. Besides Ceylon Tea,

Gems are very famous in Sri Lanka too. You can get the MOST expensive gem

at the cheapest price in the world in Sri Lanka.

Sis and I was feeling much better that time.

Dad and mom both bought something for themselves. NICE ^^ aaha !

THEN... when we were going out from the shop, sis felt dizzy (because

of the medicine which was too strong), she collapzed! FRIGHTEN ME !!!

then a lady passing by was shocked and curious at the same time.

Wanted to help but sis went into the car.

THANKS FOR YOUR CONCERN, sweet lady (:

Went back straight to the hotel. Sis was too tired to move so

mom and dad went to get us dinner. i felt bad though cuz it was

their anniversary and couldn't celebrate it. SORRY DAD N MOM !

They bought MacDees. It aint normal though, they had beriyani

and other special meals. aha ! Not bad (:

SO parent's anniversary was celebrated in the ROOM ^^

hehehe. At least in Sri Lanka yar.

6thDec (:

Chua Koon Yee's birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY yaar.

New hotel (8) . because the previous hotel was over our budget. haha `

We went to Anuradhapura. A very famous place to

visit in Sri Lanka. I've been there though. Rememberred

some of the places in it. (good memory ^^ LOL.) It was

raining cats and dogs ! But because of the rain, we

got to spend more time in the temple. which was worth waiting ^^

Anuradhapura. Huge bodhi tree. Nice?

By evening,

Visited my lil cousin bro and sis !

You have no idea how cute she's become.

And he's become handsome. aha !

Went shoppingggggg. (;

SHOPPED A LOT ^^

Then to cousins' house again for dinner.

what you didn't know is...

it was at the balcony of our hotel.

When will it be there? EARLY IN THE MORNING !

What does it do there? PECK ON THE WINDOW !

exasperating ! yaa, i know. HAHA `

Went to three temples from morning to evening.

Then my dad's friends belanja-ed us dinner.

The devilled prawn was THE BEST (: ahaha `

MORE SHOPPING.

EVEN MORE ^^ aha `

Then we slept at 8.00p.m. because we had to wake

up at 2 the next day. huhu `

the flight was at 7.20a.m. (:

bought a bag at the airport.

The money is for helping stray dogs in India. SO CUTE ^^

And then...

it all ended. my last step for this trip.

BACK HOME MALAYSIAAAA (:

missed you xP.

HOTEL ` perfect. CLASSY ; CLEAN [ most important ]

FOOD ` got fed up but STILL it was GOOD.

PLACES ` interesting, cant doubt it (;
